Straight Leg Jeans

The 90s are back with a vengeance, and my twenty-something self is happily along for the ride and wishing I still had my collection of old 501s. Thankfully brands like Slvrlake and Agolde are filling that void.

Mr. Susan

Without a doubt my favorite place for cocktails in Mitte, if not Berlin. The drinks are seasonal, creative and delicious, the staff super friendly, and the decor is just delightful. Don’t miss out…the new fall cocktail menu is coming soon!

Netflix American Factory

Netflix is knocking it out of the park with some some recent documentaries, like When they See Us (!!!) and Knock Down the House. American Factory, the first documentary produced by Michelle and Barack Obama’s HIgher Ground Productions is a fascinating look into a Chinese/American culture clash surrounding a closed GM factory in Ohio.

NY Times Parenting

Sleep training, fatherhood, starting school, sex after kids…the wonderfully designed and accessible NY Times Parenting is a great resource for expectant parents and parents of kids aged 0-5. It is just generally really well done.

Vegan nail polish from the Munich-based Kia Charlotta offers scrumptious colors perfect for fall. I’m especially loving the dark brown/red Tea Time and the Almond Brown Pumpkin Spice.
